More and more of the story

My mind was a jumbled up mess last night and I thought I posted this, but alas I didn't. The girls' birth father WAS AT COURT! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!! This was our prayer the whole time. He lives so far away that I was concerned he wouldn't be able to make it.

This man is so dear to our hearts. I am not able to think or talk about him without getting chocked up. He will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. I don't plan on posting the girls' story, because it is their story, but their father will forever be part of our family. The girls will grow up knowing how much their birth father loved them.

Thanks again for all the kind words. There is a reason for the delay and we are just trusting in the Lord's timing.

So sorry your adoption has been delayed. I hope everything falls into place quickly!

I just caught up on your story as it was the first time I've been on facebook in months!

Congratulations on your two little girls! Twins! How exciting!!!!

Our niece and nephews were adopted from Liberia and it was a very long process, but soooo worth it!

That is good news! Praying that the little piece of paper is soon in their hands and your daughters soon in your arms!

I can understand the whole feeling with the birth parents....every Mother's Day and Father's Day gives me that feeling.....every major event gives me that feeling...that little things gives me that feeling....

LOTS of hugs to you!!!

I agree with your love for the birth dad...we feel the same about birth mom and didn't really expect it. We feel it MORE AND MORE as Little Man finds his way into our heart! Prepare for even more gratitude and tears once your girls are home!
SO SORRY That you still have to wait!

Tisha-

Been praying hard for you to find comfort and peace in all the chaos- I admire your openness in the disappointment and your obvious faithfulness in the Lord. He is and will continue to bless it! So anxious to hear about your daughters and their journey and arrival home!

Praise God that he made it! How amazing. It seems like there's a "delay" every year just before summer. Just know that it is almost over. I cannot wait to see the girls in your arms!
