We are still here...

All I can say is waiting STINKS! I don't think I will ever be good at it. Because the girls are over the age of two, passing court is not our last obstacle. They will have to pass TB tests before we can travel to get them. I can't even think about them not passing, so I am not going to go there!

Today Monte and I have been married NINE years. Nine years ago I wed my man beside the Maine ocean side. It was wonderful! I am more in love with him today and I can't imagine my life without him. God has given me an amazing spouse. I am so very thankful. We are not doing anything fancy. We rented the movie Fireproof and will watch that once the boys are in bed. With our upcoming trip to Africa, spending $5 for the movie is about all we can spare. :)

I HOPE we hear something today. What a wonderful anniversary gift that would be!

Happy Anniversary! Waiting does stink and there are so many different waiting periods in this crazy process. You have these brief moments of accomplishment and then back to the waiting game... Hope everything works out for you soon.

Happy Anniversary!! I can't imaging how hard the wait is. One story for the "why's" behind the TB tesing, though. My friend brought her little guy home from Ethiopia last summer and then once here, he had a positive TB test. All of us who had been around him lots and were going to have to be on strong antibiotics for something like 4 months. Luckily, after taking him for a CAT scan (going blank on what that is called...full body scan where he was put under), they decided it was a latent TB and only he was put on the anti. Anyway, not sure if that helps or not. After our experience, I do understand the "why" behind testing in the country. Praying you hear soon!

All I can say is I thought the waiting would get easier since we have been through the adoption process before, but it isn't! The unknowns are too unpredicatable at times. Praying you hear something very soon, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! My Hubby and I have been wanting to watch fireproof as well, but our little girl hasn't been sleeping well. I can't wait though; enjoy your evening!

You're in the middle of THE hardest part...for our family. Waiting for court results. Acutally, I think you have it harder...since you didn't pass the first time. I'm so sorry!
AS FAR AS THE TB TEST GOES... I don't think you should fret! I'm sure it could go either way...but SO SO many are SUPER negative. Our Little Man and a few friends all had absolutely NO mark where the pucture was from the needle. They checked both arms to make sure they were looking in the right place!
I'M SO SORRY YOU HAVE TO DO THIS EXTRA STEP!

Happy Anniversary, my friend! You have much to celebrate. You'll have to tell me your thoughts on the movies sometime.
