We got all our referral paperwork mailed on Monday. Julie called me on Tuesday to let me know that everything looks great! We will now wait for them to give us a court date. It usually take about a month to hear.
The same night that we got our referral, I went to Target and bought this.
I had a lot of Cabbage Patch dolls growing up, so it was a must! I had to order another one online because I couldn't find another doll anywhere. We can't just have one!
Last night I was in Target and just happened to end up in the Toddler section. I saw these shirts and they had TWO of the same size, I just HAD to get them! I want to get our family pictures done soon after we get home (not too soon though) and I thought these shirts would be adorable.
On a side note, the Ethiopian government has delayed all adoptions where the children have been abandoned. There are 11 families in our agency that are effected. It pertains to all agencies in Ethiopia. We did wait almost six months for a referral, with 10 of those weeks being at the top, but that is nothing compared to having to wait AFTER you know who your child is. Would you please join me in prayer that this issue would be resolved quickly?

How fun shopping for your sweet girls! I agree...my blogging slowed down after my referral, too. Not that I post daily anyway. I started the nesting thing trying to get everything done around here since it will be harder to find time to do them once our little guys is home.
Speaking of bringing our little guy home - thanks for praying!!!
HI! Congratulations on your referral for your girls! How VERY exciting!
I am wondering if you know anymore about the halt on abandonement cases? My agency has not mentioned anything and yours is the 3rd blog I have read it on! Thanks so much!

adorable shirts...isn't it fun after having boys to shop for little girls stuff?? I love it!
I am having a difficult time figuring this whole blog thing out. I thought if someone left a comment it would go to your email, so I just got these.
Well I was devestated when we got the number 2 so I called, I guess someone lost their referral and went back to the top of the list so our official number for a sibling is 2, which is so what we want! I love reading your blog! I am so happy for your precious family!
What fun to shop for girl stuff!!! We will certainly be praying.
Okay...strange request...not at all related to your post. For some reason I can't open up my email and I'll be gone at a test all morning tomorrow. Could you email Sherry and Miriam and let them know that I have their rosters done for field day? I've got yours done too! I'll bring them with me. Not sure what's up with my computer!!!
