Wow. What an amazing few days!! God is so good. He has given us more than we could of imagined!
Some of you know that I have wanted to adopted since I was a young girl. When I would daydream about adopting, I would always see a little girl from Africa. It is truly a God thing! Also, I have always wanted twins, so when I say it is more than I could of imagined, I mean it. It is like all my childhood dreams are coming true right before my eyes. Now I realize they weren't really dreams, but it was the Lord planting the seed for what would end up being reality!
I have to say that I have really enjoyed watching Monte through this time. He has a constant smile on his face and just can't get enough of them. He is just so stinkin' cute to watch. Those girls already have their Daddy wrapped around their little fingers.
We received our referral paperwork in the mail yesterday. We will have it all done on Monday. Our social worker is out of town this week, so she will sign our last piece of paperwork Monday morning and I will overnight it all to our agency. Then we'll need to wait for a court date. That usually takes about a month. I am praying that we have court before the closure in August and that we pass the first time. If that is the case then we'll travel THIS SUMMER to get our girls!!

That stinks that your social worker is out of town.
I will pray that your court date will come quickly and that you pass the first time through.
Maybe we'll travel together.
Awesome!!! It gives me hope to read your blog. Thank you for sharing your joy.
yeah....I'm so excited for you guys...I've always wanted twins too :) Well, maybe for #6 and 7??? I better not let my hubby see this comment...He might pass out, ha. I would LOVE to adopt again, but hubby says 5 is perfect :) Too fun...congrats again, kj
I just found your blog thru Jenny's!:) I am so exicted for your twin girl referral!!! What a double blessing. I read about the CALL and it sounds great!! Is it gonna cost double the amount or the same as if it were one? Just curious on how that worked. You can comment on my blog if u want to answer me.We are also in the process of adopting from India. So awesome. My husband also prayed for twins as he felt God told them he was "doubly blessed"..
I bet you can't stop staring at their sweet little faces!! :)
I am so excited! I love your story of how
God placed adoption on your heart as a child. I remember seeing a family's newly adopted daughter from Romania at church when I was in Jr. High and wondered if the Lord was going to want me to adopt someday! Here we are!!!!
