Hair!

Hannah and Chloe have been home for almost 18 months. I have spend no less than a small fortune trying to find the right products for their hair. Honestly, mostly Chloe's. She has very tight curls and a lot of products JUST.DO.NOT.WORK. I have found that Hannah's hair works with about anything, so I mostly focus on Chloe's.

I often get asked what I use on the girls' hair, but I wanted to wait until I found the perfect products before I shared with the world. Friends... I am so happy to share a few of my favorite things.

Here is what I use for a conditioner. I only wash their hair every 1 to 2 weeks, but I co-wash (conditioner only) at least a couple of times a week. Their online site is HERE, but I am able to get it at our local Whole Foods store.

Now here are the dream products I am so excited to tell you about... Kinky-Curly! Their website is HERE. I also buy the things at Whole Foods, but you can get them at some Target stores too.

I use the Knot Today when I have Chloe's hair "free". It only takes about 10 minutes to detangle. It is a wonderful product and a little goes a long way. I also use it on Hannah's hair, but I find most days if I just get it damp it detangles pretty easily.

Then I get Chloe's hair VERY wet and put the Curling Custard in. It is the only product that I have found that keeps her hair fresh and curly for hours. I also use it in Hannah's hair, but I use a very small amount and it stays curly all day.
These two products are perfect for Chloe's thick curly hair. They also work on Hannah's, but I think I would use lighter things if both girls had hair like hers.

Here is my kinky curly hair princess...

LOVE those curls!

Hannah was not interested in getting her picture taken... welcome to my life with 3 year olds!
I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

ugh! I went to whole foods this morning to look for this conditioner and they were OUT:( It was a sad moment. But I did pick up some Kinky Curly Knot Today (and a few other products) to try so I am excited about that! Whole Foods has pretty good prices when it comes to hair products.

her hair reminds me of LL's..tight spiral curls :) I now am apply oil or product and twisting her hair to sleep in..and we wake up with no knots and "relaxed" hair..no real good curls when you do that..but the hair is longer and wavy..instead of so stuck to LL's head like it likes to do..cute, kj

You read my mind. I had been meaning to email you about your gilrs' hair b/c Sara is struggling a bit right now with Addy's and is always looking for new products.

Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a nice Christmas.

I am wondering if any of those products would work on my hair? Thanks for your comment and positive thinking but our referral wait was originally 6-8 months, but is predicted to be a bit longer now. Remembering that the Lord already knows and I don't have to fret....most days, anyway! :)

Beautiful! I wish Finny's would thicken up a bit. We just keep it short.

I love the Kinky Curl products - I was going for the cheaper walmart products but it's really worth the money to use the better products on their hair, especially as it grows longer and thicker! (Plus it smells yummy) LOVE their hair.
