We are home!

We are home safe and sound. We had a great time and I can't wait to share some pictures with you, but first things first.

My Dad called me while we were on vacation to let me know that one of my high school friend's wife had a brain aneurysm and was on life support. She is 33 years old with three small children.

Here is an email from her husband, Don, regarding what happened.

"On Saturday March 13th my bride Laurie Coldwell had a brain anurism burst and she fell into a coma. Our brave and courageous daughter Emma immediately called me at work and told me that mommy was sick.

Paramedics took her to Maine Medical Center where a brain scan confirmed the bleeding and emergency surgury was started.

Without going into the gory details...we are praying for survival.

Please lift up my bride and my children in prayer as we face this challenge.

Feel free to forward this to all who may know her."

That was 8 days ago and now she is off from life support and doing amazingly well. She has a long road to recovery, but the fact she survived is a miracle. I did just receive an update that she has spiked a fever and really needs our prayers.

Would you join me in praying for Laurie, Don and their three children... Emma, Samuel and Eliza?

If you are on facebook, they have started a group so people can follow her updates: Praying for Laurie Coldwell
