Do you remember when I told you all about how Josiah was having a really hard time with his new sisters? The post is here. He was the baby for five years and he played the roll like an Emmy Award winning actor. Then his precious baby spot was taken. It was not taken by just one sister, but two. Also, they were not babies that he could hold and cuddle, they were toddlers. Toddlers who like to get into his toys, especially his beloved stuffed animals, and chew on them (that is what he told me over and over again). Bless his heart, he did have a ruff go of it, but I am happy to report that he has adjusted. I now find him playing more with his sisters than with his brothers. They really enjoy each other's company and play very well together. They do have days where they don't get along, but don't all siblings?
Today the girls thought that Josiah needed his hair trimmed and a pedicure. Chloe is obsessed with hair. She is happiest when she is pretending to do comb and cut our hair. It seriously is the cutest thing ever and it does her Nanna's heart good (she owned a beauty salon for 25 years).
Yes, I do believe Josiah is putting on lipstick. Good thing Monte rarely reads this blog. :)
Then Hanna took off Josiah's socks and propped his feet up on a light saber and preceded to pretend to paint his toes.
Now Josiah is refreshed and ready for the weekend!

Love it! So cute! Put a big smile on my face....
Too cute for words! Sounds like normal sibling stuff to me!
Tooo cute. Sibling rivalry is a hard thing for any baby....awww....especially when sisters find his favorite toys fun. That is so cute! Hey, when he is 18 he will really love those pics - he he he??
That is just adorable!
Blessings,
Amy
what great news and precious pictures. chloe is totally concentrating in that picture as she does his hair. how sweet that she loves it so. and the feet propped on the lightsaber for the pedi? priceless!
well, the light saber makes it more of a MANicure so he doesn't feel too girlish. see, it is all about perspective ;)!!!
Wow, he has really come a long way, huh? Josiah is really great with younger kids and I knew it was only a matter of time before his he would embrace his two new sisters. You have sweet kids!
HA!!! That is tooooo precious! I love their imagination. Our boys just want to wrestle and play board games all day long. :)
I totally get where Josiah is coming from. We too had adjustment issues when the "new baby" was able to not only get in to all big bro's toys right away, but even climb into his loft bed. Nothing was sacred anymore :) But I have to say, that ligh saber pedicure- O MY Goodness! That's preciousness! Good job big bro!
so glad josiah is doing better!! CUTE post!!
I love to see the sisters pampering their brother -- how sweet is that???Oh tell Monte not to feel too bad I think that's just Chapstick!!!
