Four months...

Four months ago today we received five pictures that changed of lives forever! We received our referral on April 27, 2009 and here are two of those pictures.

I was immediately in love with these two little girls that were 8,000 miles away! God is so good.

We have been home five weeks and five days. I believe that things are starting to settle down a little bit. We now have more good days than bad, I am so thankful! We had our first post placement visit yesterday and it went really well. I always worry about how well the kids (the boys) will behave. Can you believe all five of them sat on the living room floor and played with beads for the whole two hours she was here? AMAZING! I am going to leave you with a couple of my favorite pictures!

Awwww, Tisha, they are beautiful. I love their hair! Will you let it grow a bit long or keep it shorter?

Loved reading this, loved seeing a couple of the first pictures you have of your girls. So happy to hear that the good days are outnumbering the bad. Hang in there Tisha....you and Monte and the boys are incredible for openly welcoming these girls to your family! Give hugs to all five of your children from me. I hope I'm able to meet them someday!

Love you,
Christina

Hi Tisha!
oh wow! I have loved catching up with your adoption journey! The girls are absolutely adorable and I have thought of you so much this summer and lifted up numerous prayers for you! So happy to see their smiling faces and praying you have continued "good days". I know it is difficult to have everything gel together and takes a lot of time (A WHOLE LOT) to feel "normal" again. Just praying God gives you moments of pure joy along the way!

In His Love,
Shelly (from SCC concert) :D
