I was able to work along side a couple that adopted from China and have now been home for 7 months with their little girl. I truly feel blessed to have met them. I look forward to meeting their little girl.
Oh and just for the record, Geoff Moore is my new hero. He is SCC's close friend and is also a signer and songwriter. He took the time to come to our table to get to know us. I was so humbled that he cared about our individual adoption journeys.
SCC wanted the volunteers to stick around after the show so he could tell us "thank you" in person. I think I was the only one who brought a camera... I know I am a dork, thanks!

I can't wait to show this picture to my girls. You will be their new hero and beyond cool!!
What an amazing opportunity to serve others and be blessed all at the same time.
Geoff Moore- we love him, too. Okay, I'm beginning to feel really old here. Those guys have been around a long time.
How fun! I bet everyone else was secretly upset with themselves for not bringing a camera:)
That is awesome. The Chapman family are so special.
very very cool
He sang at our Easter service a couple/three years ago ... but I didn't have the priveledge of meeting him.
great family.
You didn't tell me you posed for a picture! Yeah! That sounds like a really fun evening. Maybe the next time he comes to town you can introduce your new lovies :)
What a great opportunity!!! It sounds like a really fun evening -- and I'm glad you brought your camera.
I am so jealous!!! Trey's middle name is Chapman -- after SCC! I'll have to tell you all of his songs that have specifically impacted us at various stages of our lives... Geoff Moore is awesome too! Those guys are so down-to-earth and real. I am so glad that you had the opportunity to volunteer that night -- especially with the emphasis on adoption and your current journey! How cool?!? Continue to be a dork and carry your camera -- it pays off! :)
so neat...I met him recentely at a restaurant...I've met his wife at a local adoption play date...She's very sweet too.....So awesome you got to do that :) kj
