Our adoption agency opens today after having 2 weeks off for the holidays. I really don't think our numbers have changed this past month, but I am still looking forward to hearing from them (hopefully by the end of the week). There have been lots of traveling families and more to come. It is so exciting to see the movement in ET.
This past month has been a really good one. I have met some amazing people who are also adopting. I found out about a family that is only 15 minutes away who will be leaving on Friday to travel to Ethiopia to get their little girl. Also a friend of mine will be leaving in one week to travel to India to pick up her little girl. She has had a really long wait, I am so happy for her!
The boys have been asking a lot about their siblings and wanting to know when they'll be home. It is hard to explain to them that it still could be a while. They don't fully understand the process. We pray for our children and their birth parents everyday during our devotion time before school. This is usually followed up with lots of questions and comments about our Ethiopian sweeties! I love my boys and the hearts they already have for their siblings.
Monte and I are still praying about being put on the single lists. We are not going to make a decision until February 28. Please be praying for us as we seek the Lord's will.

It sounds like God is providing you with a support network to get through the waiting months. Seriously, I think that helped me keep my sanity all those months. Your boys have sweet hearts and will be great big brothers to their siblings/sibling in the very near future. Praying for your decision.
ill be praying for you guys!
We're also #5 now on the sibling list but I rarely mention it since it seems so rare to get our request...We've requested single infant girl, or siblings under 12 months or infant twins...so it will probably be a single girl..since we're #3 on that list!! What age siblings have you requested?? kristi
