These are the first five families that need sponsorship. I have personally met these people and they were so grateful when I told them that I was going to try very hard to find sponsors to help them. The profiles below are what they want you to know about them and their life.
Meet Nestanet and her parents... SPONSORED!!!
Nestanet Kentiba is 16 years old. She live with her
parents and goes to school. She has a deep passion for Christ. She loves to go
to church and worship. Recently the family's burden is on the mother’s shoulders
due to her husband health problems. He has severe back problems and has had to
stay home the last three years. This
family income is less than ONE US dollar per a day. Their greatest need is
food. Your sponsorship will
allow them to stop digging through the trash dump.
Meet Etaggne and her daughter... SPONSORED!!!
Meet Etaggne and her daughter... SPONSORED!!!
Etaggne is a widow. She has two children, Enawgye is 13 years old and Wondmagn is 17 years old. The family life is based on the local trash dumb by collecting left-over rotten food. This family rents the home they live in and sometimes are not able to afford rent. Recently the mom was injured by a trash truck in Korah. A family in America stepped up to help her with her medical care so that she could go to the hospital, but they still need ongoing monthly sponsorship.
Meet Tegwaded and her family...SPONSORED!!!!
Tegwaded
Derse is a 40 year old wife and mom. Recently the family’s burdens are on her
shoulders due to her husband’s deteriorating health (he has leprosy and eye
problems). They have two children, Mekdes is 1 year old and Emebet is 12 years
old. Tegwaded goes out every day to the trash dump to look for food, but
because it is becoming overcrowded she isn’t always successful. Please pray for
this family. If you feel led please sponsor them and save them from starvation.
Meet Banchamlik, her mother and baby girl (also pictured is Pastor Tesfaye)... SPONSORED!!!
Banchamlik Negusea
is a 20 years old and she is a 4th years engineering student. She lives
with her 8 month baby and her mom in a very small house. Her mom is a leper. She lost her fingers and
leg because of the leprosy and now has to use an artificial leg to get around.
Due to her physical disability she is not able to provide for her daughter and
granddaughter. Banchmlik has to miss
school frequently because she has to dig through the trash to find food. Her
Sponsorship is $75 per month. This is more than the normal amount, because she
also needs transportation money to get to and from the University.
Meet Fantanshe...SPONSORED!!!!
Fantanshe Alemu is a 55 years age widow. She has six children, three of them currently live with her. Yeonase is a 11 year old boy, Miteka is a 14 year old girl and Yasab is a 18 year old girl. Fantnshe has two major health issues, elephantiasis and leprosy. Because of her condition she has no hope of ever finding a job. There is no income for her family so she has to go to the trash dump to get food for herself and her children. Sponsorship is $40 per month and you will be sponsoring the whole family. This will supply them with food for a month, so they don’t have to eat rotten food.
If you feel led to help one of these families, please contact me. As always, I will be happy to answer any questions!
Be a blessing,
Tisha
