I can't get over how well Chloe does when I do her hair. She gets squirmy at the end, but today it took me TWO LONG HOURS. I am sure I would get restless too. This time obviously I did braids and her hair is a lot longer than I thought. I truly didn't think I was going to be able to braid it, but I was wrong.
I would like to finish it off with some fun clips or pony tail holders, but I don't think her hair is long enough yet. Any suggestions?
I recently bought a sleep cap (the only reason I attempted to style it today). I found one at Walmart for $2, so I thought it was worth a try. I'll let you all know how well her hair does over the next couple of nights.
Hannah's hair is now starting to get out of control, so I guess it is time to figure out some styles for her too. Fun times! Have a great weekend everyone.

When I do braids sometimes- for smaller ones like that I end them with a tiny rubberband & a pop bead. They have bags of them at Wal-Mart or wherever. :) Very cute!

It is so long! Kate has a friend in her class who has a twin sister and they are from Ghana. Their mom (the librarian at their school) has just figured out the cutest way to do their hair - it is some sort of woven braid thing (she describes it as crocheting) and the girls love it cause now they can grow it out and they are excited to have bangs.: ) Pretty impressive how long she will sit!

you could use hair snaps on the ends-they can even be used instead of the rubber bands at the ends. google "hair snaps" or go to the web site "curly is cuter"--it is where i found them the cheapest and they are really nice folks to order from :) cute girly!!!!
Whoa! I didn't even recognize her when I first saw the pictures :) You should set up a shop. . . people pay lots of money to have the braiding done. Seriously, that could be your second job (like you need another).
