I have known Tiffini for over three years. She is a homeschooling mom and we are in the same homeschool co-op. Her children are older than mine, but we have been in small groups together and a Bible study. I have known for a while that she has a heart for orphans and really wants to adopt. Her husband hasn't been totally on board and needed more time. She being the great wife that she is... gave him exactly that... time.
Tiffini is one of the very few people I told, in depth, about the difficult time we had when the girls came home. She is a very trusted friend. Sometimes it is hard to open up to someone who hasn't adopted because often they just don't get it, but it is different with Tif. I know she prays for us and our adjustment as a family of seven. Words can't express my appreciation!
I am so happy that my stories did not scare her away from adoption, because last month her husband said...
YES to adoption!!!!
They are getting ready to start their dossier for a young sibling group and I am elated! I didn't really know anyone who had adopted from Ethiopia until we were already in the process, so it'll be so fun joining them on their journey from start to finish.
When you get a minute go over to her blog HERE and say hello!!
Thanks for letting me be apart of your adoption journey, Tif. I am so blessed to call you a friend!

Tisha- thank you so much for sharing your friend Tif's blog, after reading, it is ironic how similar our stories are. We too are adopting siblings from ET, having 3 biological children ages 6-9, I have been praying for 3 years as well and my husband just said yes in Nov., we too are using All God's Children. I never thought I would, but I am loving the blog world!
Thanks, my friend, for your kind words. God knew what He was doing when He used Lighthouse to bring us together. At that time, I never would have guessed that we would be walking these similar paths. I'm so glad that HE knows all things and His timing is perfect. Your friendship, support, advice, and prayers are invaluable to me during this time. You are a blessing to me!!
Hallelujah!
Tisha
That is so great..I have to say your blog has really given me a lot of courage..my husband and I have talked about adopting for a while..we have so much to figure out with Kyle but when things settle down a bit we are hoping to go in that direction...
