In seven short months...

The girls have almost been home for 4 months. When we received their referral in April I marked their height on the door jam, where we have measured the boys twice a year since we have lived here. This past week, I measured the girls for the first time since being home. I couldn't believe how much they have grown and I had to share!

The girls each received physicals on 4/23/09, two days after they arrived at, our agency's orphanage, Hannah's Hope.
Since then...

Chloe has gained 8.9 pounds and grown 3 inches!! When we picked her up in July she was in 12-18 months pants and 2T shirt. Now she is in 2T pants and 3T shirts.

Hannah has gained 9.3 pounds and grown 5 inches!! When we picked her up in July she was in 18 month pants and 2T/3T shirts. Now she is 4T pants and 4T pants. She was only in 3T pants for ONE MONTH. I can't believe how fast she is growing. It gives me a great excuse to go shopping!

I knew they had some catching up to do, but I never dreamed they would grow this much in a little under 7 months! I am so thankful they are HOME!

WOW! Seems impossible that they've grown so much in 7 months - physically and in their hearts too! You can see in their faces not only growth, but peace!

That is so awesome! Livi has gone from size 6-9 month clothing when we picked her up to 18 months in 4 months! How crazy is that??? I put one of her outfits that she wore in Ethiopia and laughed that the pant legs were at her knees! And the hair growth, it is seriously unreal! I can't wait to see your precious girls again!

Amazing. I love knowing that their emotional, relational and spiritual growth has been even more significant than their physical growth. It may not seem like it all the time but I know that is true.
Mo's hair growth is unreal and just today I was pulling out 18mo clothes for him as he is popping out of some 12mo outfits - he isn't even 8 mos yet!
