The other day I thought I would do a quick photo shoot. Each year I give the grandparents a photo calendar of the kids and I was still missing a really good photo of all five of the kids together. So, I dressed them up and got them into the pose I thought would look good and can you believe that they all smiled for every single picture. I was so proud of them!
It was a huge ahah moment for me. Even though our road has not been an easy one, everyone is adjusting and bonding. I believe these pictures tell the story without me saying a word. We are making progress... thank you Lord!

Tisha, oh yes, I absolutely see the bonding happening, and the trust forming. I can look back on our older son's first pictures and see the uncertainty and anxiety written all over his face (in a way I couldn't really see at the time). As time wears on, you can see the change in expression.
I can see that in your girls. Their smiles are reaching their eyes. The photos are absolutely precious. And, by the way, your boys look a lot more certain too. :)

It's amazing! They are all smiling and looking wonderful. But I have to agree with your last post--America "cold" (especially Maine.)
So good to read this friend! And the pictures do say so much and are beautiful!! You will have rough days or even weeks ahead but I do believe the toughest is over. : ) Celebrating 3 months with you!
