I am sure you can imagine how much I have to get done in the next few days. Looking back I should of gone ahead and done more while we were waiting. It was emotional for me though and I didn't want to get everything done and then have them not pass their TB and just be staring at the full suitcases.
Anywho...
They passed, praise GOD and now I have a ton to do. A TON! But of course checking my email is top priority. I got this email today from a family that just got home from Ethiopia. A truly wonderful gift just 4 days before boarding the plane!
"Your girls spent a lot of time in mine and my mother's arms this last week as we picked up our girls from Ethiopia. They are absolutely precious and so sweet. They spent so much time in my arms that my daughter came and scolded them that I was her mother. It was so funny. I can't remember their names, but the one that is a little bigger with more hair cried every time my mom put her down. She also loved when my husband threw her up a bit in the air. They spent a lot of time in my older daughters care as she was the oldest at Hannah's Hope and helped care for the toddlers. They are sweet and quiet, and loved learning to play duck duck goose. We just got back on Sunday and I will have a ton of pictures for you once we get everything unpacked and a little more settled. I knew you were heading out soon! Blessings to you and have a wonderful trip. The girls will be a great addition - they are precious girls!"
Every time I read it, I tear up. I LOVE it!! I can't wait to have them in my arms and kiss them from head to toe. I have almost 29 months of lost kisses to make up for!
Time to get back to the to-do list that is about a mile long!

I am so happy that the time has come, and you will finally get to hold your girls. I wish I wasn't so far away so I could be waiting for you all at the airport:) Do you think anyone here in Maine would notice if I went missing for a few days?!?!?!?

WOO HOO! I've been out of touch and getting caught up on everyone's blog and SOOOOOO EXCITED to see the negative results! (not really surprised though....I was confident they'd be!)
