It was fun to finally get to know the people that he talks a lot about. They went out of their way for us and we are so grateful! The boys did really well until the cake got into their blood stream. Doctors that say sugar does not effect children, have never met my kids after a glob of frosting. It is 1/2 hour past their bedtime and they still are running around like crazy people.
They even got each boy some gifts. They were SO excited!! For some reason they weren't really into the pink toys. :)
Here are the gifts. Have I told you all that I love girl things??!! They also got us a Target giftcard with a LARGE balance on it. It will be wonderful to have when getting the last minute things before we travel!
I received an email from our case manager today. She told us not to worry about not having a court date and that there is nothing wrong with our file. She said that everything is moving forward and we should received a date in the near future. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for us. It has been a hard, but it felt good to finally hear from her and to hear good news.

So fun! I also love pink and girly things so it has been quite a transition to blue for me...but I am learning! Your girls will have so much fun with their goodies -- and I am sure the boys will learn to play with pink! : )
How wonderful!!! That was so nice! My kids are just like your boys when it comes to sugar -- I used to visit an elderly friend and we'd have tea and cakes around 3:30. Within 15 minutes the kids were crazy and I would try to herd the kids out of there before they did any damage! They still have the same problem, and it is very annoying when in public because I feel like they can't help it.
I love PINK stuff and Target!! I can't wait to hear that you're on your way. This is getting exciting.

That's great you heard something on your court date. It would be better if it WAS a court date, but at least they assured you things are moving along.
