I love spring!

I am always so happy when spring arrives. I love seeing everything bloom and all the new life. I am relieved to know that really nice weather is not too far off, because I am not a fan of the cold. Yes, I grew up in Maine, but I still don't like the cold!

Every year we are visited by ducks. This is so much fun. Since we live in the city we don't see a lot of "wild" animals. We do have bunnies in the backyard but rarely see them. Last fall we bought a bird feeder that we have really enjoyed. I have been surprised at the different bird species that visit us. The ducks are really enjoying the bird food too! We have been able to feed them bread on a couple of occasions this week.

This is where I found John while the other two boys were feeding the ducks!

*Adoption Update* We have been waiting at the top for 7 weeks and 1 day. I can't say it is getting any easier, because it is not. I long to see my children's sweet faces. I want to pray for them by name. I want to know what gender they are and how old they are. I pray we get a referral soon.

In the past I haven't really explained myself too well when I say that we are #1 for different sibling combos, I am sorry. I am going to try to make it more easy to understand.

Right now, we are unofficially #2 on the sibling list. The family in front of us has limited parameters, so that leaves us at #1 for a lot of different sibling combinations.

We are #1 for:

boy/boy 0-4 years

boy/girl 0- 4 years

girl/girl (as long as one girl is over the age of 1)
