I was tagged on facebook and I thought I would share here too. I did one similar last month, but most of my answers are different!
1. Monte and I got married 8 months after we met. We will be married 9 years in June. I love that man!
2. I had our three boys in 34 months. I was pregnant for parts of FIVE YEARS STRAIGHT!
3. We are adopting from Ethiopia! I am loving our adoption experience. I will be honest and tell you that it is a very emotional journey.
4. My husband amazes me! He wakes up at 4:30a each day (doesn’t need to be there till 9a) and works a 12 hour day, so I don’t have to work.
5. I love love love being a mother! I never dreamed I would have a large family, but we are well on our way.
6. I have learned that divorce doesn’t just effect the first generation. It effects many generations after.
7. I wasn't very nice to a certain girl growing up, only because we liked the same guy, sad. Now I am so thankful that she is one of my dear friends!
8. I cannot cook, but my husband is amazing!!
9. I have many ups and downs homeschooling, but at the end of the day I am so glad they are home with me.
10. I am NOT a cat person. I do love my boys though and that is why we have two cats.
11. Our boys have biblical first names (John was also named after my grandfather). Their middle names are family names. We will do that same for our adopted children. We will also keep their given name.
12. I am trying to read through the Bible this year.
13. I am independent.
14. We don’t have any of our parents living near us. They are in Maine, Oklahoma and Alabama. 15. I am competitive in anything I do.
16. When we travel to Ethiopia, it’ll be my first time leaving North America.
17. I worked at Target for a couple of Christmas’s. I made NO money. I spent it as fast as I earned it.
18. I love warm weather and would like to move south.
19. I cannot play any instrument or read music. Thankfully Isaac and John are not following in my footsteps. They are 6 and 7 and can already read music and play the piano.
20. I started babysitting when I was 11. I did that and worked at a daycare through high school and most of college.
21. I was a corporate fitness manager before I had kids. I don’t miss it at all.
22. I LOVE living in the city. Target is literally across the street… need I say more?
23. I did not enjoy college. I was so homesick. I went from Maine to Indiana. Who wouldn’t be homesick?
24. I love to read. If you have read any great books, let me know!
25. I am looking forward to traveling, someday!

I am still waiting for you to report that you lived through the sleep over???? You get a medal for that one. How was it? The kids LOVED it. Hoping you have time to take a nap today!!!!
The main reason I never got a job at TARGET is because of exactly what YOU experienced! I wondered if that happened to the employees! AND, I LOVE to read, too! You have encouraged me to put my 25 things on my blog too! So, I will....
I also agree with your "divorce" comment...so many generations and it takes generations to make a change. EVERY little step is closer to God's best for us!
