We finally got a "real" snow storm (13 inches). It started around 1pm on Tuesday and when we woke up on Wednesday it was a winter wonderland!! After school, we spent a couple of hours outside. The boys were playing while I shoveled. I love being outside after a storm. It is so beautiful and I really don't mind shoveling. After, we came in for some hot chocolate and some quiet time! It was a great day.
We ventured out late this afternoon to Target to purchase sleds. They are sold out, of course. I really want to bring the boys sledding tomorrow, so I am going to keep searching. They have never been, so I think it is about time!

Its so much fun watching them play in the snow isn't it. I took Isaiah out this afternoon. Poor guy had snow up past his knees!!! But he loved it though.
Amber talked to her mom tonight and they have no power in southern indiana ... lots of ice ... we lucked out here in middle TN and missed the ice that Kentucky got ... mostly all rain ... glad the boys are enjoying it...
We have some sleds you can borrow if you want to venture this way. The best hill is in the Tague's neighborhood. It's REALLY big! (for central Indiana:)
Like the snow??? You must be nuts!!! I am glad that your boys had fun though that is what is all about.
Yeah, I didn't even think about our dossier either ... may be worth a question for you guys...
No power yet ... her sis/husband have a big ol' generator that's keeping the lights on ... so everyone is huddled at their house...my boss has family in Kentucky and just bought $500 worth of propane tanks, etc to drive up there for his family ... could be days/week to get power back there ... they don't even have water because there is no power to run the pumps, etc ... not good.
