I mailed our dossier on Friday afternoon. I have been tracking it and it made it to Portland, OR on Saturday morning. Because I didn't pay for overnight service, it is just sitting in the warehouse. I was hoping they would deliver it today because they are kind people. I mean it has been sitting there for 2 days... ugh! It is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I am just so ready to be on the list!!
Today we drove downtown and delivered out home study to the CIS office. This is the last thing that they need. Now our application will be processed. Their time frames vary greatly, so I am not getting my hopes up, but it shouldn't take more than two months.

I'm so glad you have joined the adoption journey! I am also adopting through AGCI. I am a psychologist and I live in California. I have been married for 4 years to my high school sweetheart. We started dating 11 years ago. We have a bio daughter (Skylar) who turned 1 on 10/19 and are adopting a baby boy (Jordan)from Vietnam. We started our adoption in January 2006 and can't wait to bring him home. Feel free to add our blog to your list! We love followers and don't have many yet. We are new at this haha.

Frustrating Tisha! I remember just wanting a number so badly, because then you are finally waiting for your little one.

So, it will roughly take 2 months to get your referrals? Praying God expedites all of your paper work and court hearings!
