I have done a poor job blogging about the flag football season. I have to say it hasn't been an easy one. Josiah still doesn't like it, but it a trooper and does go to the practice and game each week without a lot of tears. He is counting down how many games are left and that would be THREE!Isaac and John both are ok with it, but insist that they don't want to play next year.
We have to be on the field Saturday morning at 9:30a and we don't leave the field (because of the two games) until 12:45p. So it makes for a LONG morning. The teams, especially John and Josiah's, are cute to watch. Whenever Josiah gets the ball he runs the opposite way and has gotten a touchdown for the other team. Thankfully they didn't count it.
I think the cutest thing about the games is the beginning. It is just like a high school game. The kids line up... they put on "football" music... the cheerleaders are cheering... and they announce each child as they run through the homemade banner thingy (not sure what they call it).
I have attached two videos of the boys running after being announced. Of course they are first for their teams since they line up alphabetically!
