The Circus...

A couple of months ago Isaac asked me why I have never, in all his life, taken him to a circus. After snickering, I really didn't have a good answer for him. I loved the circus as a child and went almost every year.

Oddly enough, the circus was getting ready to come to town. I am sure he probably saw a commercial. So, last Thursday we took the boys to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. "The greatest show on earth" that sells $12 cotton candy. Can you believe that? It did come with a hat; that I am probably going to frame, because it is too expensive to wear!

We had a great time. We went early and saw the performing animals up close and learned some neat things about the Asian elephant. Not to be confused with the African elephant. Mark that off as a school day!

I don't think Isaac blinked once during the show. It was so cute to see him fall in love with the circus! John and Josiah enjoyed it, just not as much as Isaac. Isaac is our artsy child, so this was right up his alley.

The $12 bag of cotton candy and the hat!

"Mark that off as a school day..." Your funny!!

I know, I'd have a hard time with the $12 fluffed sugar and hat- that could buy cases of Diet Coke!:)
