Last Friday we met some friends at Chick-fil-A for lunch. She has 3 boys too, so we fill up the play place there pretty fast! Soon after we arrived a gentleman walked in with a little boy. He, the little boys, looked to be around 18 months. The man was super friendly and the three of us started talking. He asked if either of us had other children. I told him that we had just started the adoption process to Ethiopia. He smiled and said that his little boy was from Ethiopia! I was so excited! So of course we talked non stop until the kids we begging to go eat! He lives in the same town as us. They went to get their son when he was only 6 months old.
I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am that we ran into them. There is a strong possibility that one of our children will be the same age (or close to) as this little boy. He gave me some great advice and hooked me up with a local group of families that have also adopted from Ethiopia.
This is just another answer to prayer. God is so good!

I enjoy reading your adoption journey, Tisha. It's especially neat to see God's hand at work from the littlest to the biggest detail. I've had little time comment as of late, but know that I'm following you all the way!
Tisha, this story gave me chills! God is indeed very good! What a great thing to cross paths with another adopted child from Ethiopia! I am excited to hear more...
