Well my dear friends I just experienced my first EARTHQUAKE. It was measured at a
5.4 5.2 magnitude. It happened at 5:37am this morning. I was laying on the couch and I heard the back door making an odd sound, I thought it was wind, it was vibrating the glass. Then the couch started to shake and then the whole house start vibrating and just making the oddest sound. I had no clue what was going on, but knew at that time it couldn't of been wind.
When it hit I was trying to get back to sleep after Monte left for work and this clearly woke me up. It really took me about 10 minutes to figure out what it was and I immediately turned on the news where they confirmed my thought.
The shaking lasted about 10 seconds. I think it probably lasted longer, but I didn't know what I was experiencing so I didn't know how to gage it.
It was wild and I was
a little a lot scared, but I lived through unhurt and everyone is fine. The boys didn't even wake up and Monte didn't feel it while driving. I don't think we have any damage, but once the sun is up I will go outside and make sure.

I missed the whole thing but had some kids in my room this morning freaking out. It took me a while to figure out what had happened.
Another reminder of God's great power.
