My Dear Friend

Yesterday afternoon I was able to get away for a few hours with my dear friend Kerri! This is such a wonderful thing for me, because in a house with all guys, I need some girl time every now and then. Growing up I was always a tomboy, but since becoming a mom of all boys I have embraced my womanhood head on. Pink is now my favorite color, the one color I hated growing up! I long for girl time and treasure every minute I get.

Last night we went to a movie, to eat and of course shopping. We never run out of things to talk about, even though we email each other at least once a day. It is just more fun when you are face to face!

Since moving to Avon, she now lives one hour away, but we make a point to get together at least every 2 months. We have only known each other for a few years, but became instant friends. We have gone through a lot together in that short time and I know she will always be there for me. I thank God for her. She is a gem!
