If you know me well, you know that I LOVE summer! Today is October 11th and for a few days now we have had summer like temps! It makes me happy, very happy.
Last Friday afternoon the kids and I met some friends at a local park and the park ranger came up to us and told us that the new splash pad and park was open and we should really check it out. He was very persistent, so off we went to check it out. The kids had a lot of fun, but because we were not dressed for the splash pad we didn't let them try that part out.
Today the temperature is 86, so after school I told the kids to go get their swimming things on. HOW CRAZY IS THAT? Off we went to the splash park. Because it is brand new we were the only ones there. There were a lot of people driving by probably thinking, "Who is the WORLD lets their kids go in the splash pad in October?" That would be me and oh what fun they had...
Chloe is my water baby! She stayed in the water till it was almost time to go.

Wish we had a splash place. It's in the high 80s in the afternoon still.
Where is the new splash park? Seriously, I want to go tomorrow. I normally go to the one in Zionsville, but it is closed for the season. Your pictures look like somewhere in Plainfield?

No way! We must have just missed you! We were there at 4:00 today. When were you there... Too bad we didn't communicate, huh? I love that place! We've been there 4 or 5 times now. And then we rode our bikes there this evening. What fun! This weather is glorious!
What a fantastic looking park. Our kids would love it there. Looking forward to hearing where the park is located.
It's not unlike us to drive to Indy because there is a park we like...good example being the apple and pumpkin picking adventures.

TISHA! I love that Chloe, I swear she makes me laugh every time I see a cutie picture of her, she seems to ooze silliness-I love it!!! And oh that one of the girls hugging, seriously stunning....
Most of all loved to see them all playing together in a huddle under the water sprayer-your kiddos have just been knit together so much in the past year, haven't they?? miraclous...just love that God of ours so very much
