Why today is great, you ask? Well... let me tell you!
#1. I WON Amy's give away on her blog!!!! I am so excited and so thankful. Thank you so much Amy, we are so excited. The CDs will definitely be used a lot!
#2. A friend emailed me a few days ago and asked me if I wanted to attend Indianapolis Life Center's Celebration of Life. She had an extra FREE ticket that is located in a suite at Conseco Fieldhouse (where the Pacer's play) with FREE parking included! How awesome is that?! The line up tonight is: 2009 Miss America Katie Stam, Sandy Patty, AND President George W. Bush!
#3. We still owe money for the adoption and today $565 was written off. Just like that. Can you believe that? We still owe more, but I am so thankful to God. He always provides for our needs. I tend to stress out about finances and He continually shows me that we did exactly what He wanted us too. No, the timing was not was we thought (our goal was to pay cash for the adoption), but the Lord knew and I am so thankful we listened. I can't imagine my home filled with any other Ethiopian sibling pair. The Lord's timing and plans are so much better than anything I can dream up.
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
