I just heard from the doctor's office and John's MRI came back NORMAL!!! I am so relieved and thankful. It doesn't give us any answers as to why he is getting them, but I am ok with that. The doctor said they are probably hereditary (I get them, but I didn't start this young) and we'll need to learn what triggers his headaches. That will consist of keeping track of his migraines, the food he intakes, the weather and stress level around the time of the headache. This will all go in his headache journal that the doctor will take a look at when we see him in June.

YEAH- Praise God!!! That is awesome. Pray that the journal will give insight & he will not have to suffer too much. Not fun for an energetic little man.
I'm sorry he is still getting the migraines, but so glad the mri was normal.
I LOVE normal, normal is GOOD!! Sorry your head hurts sometimes John, hope you guys figure out what starts them FAST!
SO, SO, SO glad that the MRI came back good! I understand the frustration of "not knowing". We have similar issues with our kids. Braces helped one of them!
That is great news! I had migraines when I was in 4th or 5th grade. They went away, and I didn't have one again until I was in my late 20s. Once again, I haven't had since that few month spell. Hopefully, his will go away, too.
