We were home for exactly one week and Hanna broke out in chicken pox. It is now Tuesday and she is still breaking out (only one new one today though, well it is still early). It appears to be a mild case or at least I think so. She isn't miserable during the day, but at night is another story. She hasn't slept through the night for two nights and it is because she is scratching. I give her oatmeal baths (these girls would live in the water) and anti itch cream, but it seems that by 2am they both wear off. I think tonight I am going to reapply the cream once she wakes up. She hasn't had a fever in two days, so I am hoping the end is in sight. Desalech doesn't have any spots... yet.
There is so much I want to tell you all, but it'll have to wait till another time. I hope you all have a great Tuesday and I will leave you with some pictures.
Hanna is not always full of smiles.
Desalech blowing bubbles. This is a daily activity!

It's hard to be full of smiles when the chicken pox has you down. You're doing great! Aren't you glad she has a mommy to love on her when she's not feeling well? What great timing.
They are so beautiful Tisha! Praying for healing for your sweet little girl! Our son struggles with really dry skin, so if he is having troubles scratching, we put winter gloves on his hands. That way if he does scratch, he is not damaging skin! Maybe this would help...it might be fun for her too! :)
oh man, i am sorry-coming home to illness is NOT FUN-it just makes life exhausting!!! hang in there-your girlies are BEYOOTEEFUL!!!!
chicken pox....oh man! Praying for you.
So sorry to hear she has chicken pox. At least you are there to comfort her during this time. They are super cute! How are the boys adjusting to the girl thing?
poor girl. so sorry to hear that she is sick. Praying right now for God to give you the needed strength. The first few weeks are hard even when your not sick.
what beautiful girls they are..I love them in yellow..it looks great on them...praying the pox is gone soon :) kj
Those lips are precious! Hopefully, the worst is over and the itching will calm down. I'm sure the warm weather doesn't help matters.
Oh MY! So sorry about the chicken pox! I would suspect second case is on it's way...unless blood results already showed immunity? Wishful thinking! (I know our blood testing had about 300 different immunizations listed...not really...just looked like it!)
