Last Saturday we ordered the girls' beds and we also decided to get Isaac a bed too. He has been borrowing his bed for over two years now and we thought it was time to purchase one. On Sunday, I ran around the bought all the things for his room like paint, curtains etc. etc. Then ALL DAY on Monday I painted his room and finished up on Tuesday just before the delivery guys came. Isaac LOVES orange, so we wanted to use that for a wall color, but I wasn't sure I wanted the WHOLE room orange. He decided on a blue and I think it turned out okay. I still have some touch up painting to do on the woodwork. I had a hair brain idea to let the boys help me paint. Lets just say that didn't last long, but the damage was done.
Prior to this, his room was painted gray from the original owners and he had no curtains, just blinds. Since we didn't specify gender with the adoption we just didn't know how the room situation was going to work out, so that is why it has stayed that way for three years. It was definitely time to get it done. He is so proud of his room and spends a lot of time in there now! He thanks us at least one time per day for his new room, such a sweet boy!
