The lions will work for now...

At Christmas time last year the boys really wanted to get something for our children in Ethiopia. It was really hard thinking of something to get when you have no clue what gender or age they are. My boys REALLY like Webkinz, so much so that I will never admit to how many they own! They thought it would be a wonderful idea to get our children those. In there minds every kid needs a Webkinz! I went ahead and purchased two lions with the thought that it would be one of the gifts we send to them once we get our referral. I put them away after Christmas for safe keeping. This past weekend I ran across the box they were being stored in and decided to pull them out. Even though we do not yet know who are children are, they are still very much apart of our everyday life. We pray for them and talk about them continuously. The boys and I decided that until we get our referral and see some real pictures, the lions are going to be a symbol of our sweeties. So now the lions are right by our family photo. Every time I look at them I smile and know our time is coming soon!
