16 Random things about me...

I was tagged by a friend on facebook, but I thought I would use it for a post instead of doing a note on facebook. Just because I know you want nothing more than to learn 16 random things about me! :)

1. I am beyond blessed. I thank God for the life He has given me. I couldn't ask for a better family.

2. I am really enjoying our adoption journey!! I have met some amazing people and am looking forward to getting our referral.

3. I live for roller coasters. The scarier the better. Sadly, thus far, none of my kids share my enthusiasm.

4. I despise dirty clothes on the floor. We have 5 dirty clothes baskets, but I always find clothes on the floor next to the basket...ugh!

5. I really enjoy living in the city. I grew up in the country and strangely enough, I don't miss it.

6. I have a small obsession with Target. We live only 2 minutes from a Super Target and I am there often!

7. If I could do college over again, I would become a social worker. Instead I majored in exercise science. Not a lot you can do with that.

8. I L-O-V-E the dentist. There is no feeling like just getting your teeth cleaned.
I have passed that love on to my children and they ask monthly if it is time to go back.

9. I have been to Disney World six times. Probably my most favorite time was December 2007 when we took the boys.

10. I am the handy woman around the house. If something needs fixed, I am the one who does it.

11. Even though I grew up in Maine, I am not a fan of winter. I am cold from November until April... no joke!

12. I tried playing the clarinet and saxophone in elementary school. I quickly learned that I am not gifted musically!

13. I was homesick all 4 years of college. I did meet Monte 5 months after I graduated, so looking back it was all worth it!

14. I have always wanted twins. Instead I had 3 boys in 34 months! Who knows... we could get a referral for twins.

15. I can't do a cartwheel.

16. I can't wait to go to Ethiopia and bring our children home.
