I had to share this picture. Josiah doesn't practice his letters on paper a lot. He still experiences some sensory issues, so I have a plastic storage container that has a flat bottom and I put salt in it. I have him write his letters in there using his finger. He has been doing very well. The other day I asked him to write his name on the dry erase board. I already knew he could write the J and O, but I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to write his whole name with no problem.
He was very proud and wanted me to take a picture!

that's awesome...and very impressive. way to go josiah.
great job! I am a preschool teacher and used to teach 1st grade....you can tell him I give him an A plus! good job on not teaching him to write it in all caps! major teacher pet peeve:)
What a cute picture! I am a pediatric physical therapist, and the OT at my clinic sees quite a few kiddos with sensory issues. Looks like he's doing well! I am excited to follow your journey to Ethiopia, and thanks for your comment on our blog. I am originally from southern Indiana(Dale), and one of my best friends from high school lives in Carmel. I was excited to see a family from my home state!
