My boys keep me laughing.
Whenever we go to Target they always ask if they can look at the toys. If we have enough time, I usually let them. The reason I let them is very simple. They do not ask for a toy while we are there. They look at them for a while and when I say "lets go", they leave with me. No whining, crying or complaining.
They do it in other ways though...
They wait till we are in the van and the conversation usually goes something like this.
John or Isaac, "Mom, guess what I am going to do when I am a parent."
Me, "What?"
J or I, "When I am a Daddy, I am going to let my kids get whatever they want and they won't even have to save their money."
Me, "Really?"
J or I, "Yes, if they ask for a toy then they can have it. No matter what."
Me, "So, you don't mind if you kids are spoiled brats?"
J or I, " No, they won't be. I will also buy them something even if they don't go to the store with me."
Me, "Well I am glad you don't expect that from Mommy, because that would stress me out."

I can hardly wait with Isaiah, everytime we go Wal-Mart he just has to have a sticker...does not matter if we are entering or leaving. Also have to be careful going past the balls as well...lol
