We start school on Thursday. We got our curriculum in the mail a little over a week ago and it got us all in the mood to start!
Now that Isaac will be in 1st grade, I wanted to get "real" curriculum and I choose one that is Bible based. There are many reason why I homeschool, but the biggest one is because I can teach them what I feel is important. So, I am excited to get going and I am so thankful that they are just as energized to start the school year!
Why am I starting this early, you ask? By the time spring gets here we do not have the same passion about school. Everyone is tired of being inside and the nice weather is calling us!
Another great things about homeschooling is that it doesn't take us all day. We start at 8am and are done no later than 12pm. So that leaves plenty of time to still enjoy the rest of summer.
