I am beyond exhausted, but I really can't wait to post about today! I posted last week that my boys were given a once in a lifetime opportunity to sing in a children's choir that was singing with Travis Cottrell. The boys didn't really understand the magnitude of what they were getting ready to do, but they were happy to do it. They did really well practicing and today I loaded them up and headed to the convention center in Indianapolis. It was the Southern Baptist Convention this week and they preformed for the people there.
We got there at 3:30pm. We met up with all the other children and did a dress rehearsal with Travis. The denomination had a group of people to entertain the children and they were great. They ate dinner, played some games and practiced the song (A LOT). They didn't get on stage until almost 9pm, so it was a long afternoon. The kids were very well behave and did an amazing job! I can't even begin to explain the experience. I am so very thankful!

There is so much I want to write, but I am having a hard time coordinating my thoughts. We are leaving for Maine tomorrow night. Yes, driving through the night, straight through. That is 20ish hours in the van with three boys and the dog. Insane? Why yes we are, thank you! So, because of that I HAVE to get a good night sleep. Here are some pictures. I will post more later, but because I was on the side stage while the kids were up there, I didn't get any of them singing.

Hey Tisha,
It was nice to get to know you a little bit yesterday. I believe Jim got some really good pictures from the performance yesterday. Mine were so-so. :(
And even though I don't know you very well, I do believe your insane driving to Maine for 20 hours with 3 boys and a dog! :)
I hope you have a great trip. I've always wanted to go to Maine. Drive safe!
Tisha, go to www.painterelcinco.blogspot.com and you will find a link to the video. I will email you some pictures soon.
