I am a HUGE football fan. I am elated for the city on Indianapolis on the achievement of getting the 2012 Superbowl. I know a lot people wanted this and worked hard for two years to get it!
They are in the process of building a new stadium and because of this we were able to put a bid in for the Superbowl. The stadium will be done before the 2008 season. I wasn't a big fan of the "dinning out" tax increase of 1%, but I understood why it was needed. I can't imagine our team going somewhere else and if we didn't get this stadium I am afraid that would of
been an inevitable outcome.
Good job and well deserved.
Now if someone would want to send me tickets because of this nice post, I will be sure to put them to good use!
UPDATE: I have gotten emails about my switch to becoming a Colts fan. So I want to take this time to clarify. I am happy for the city of Indianapolis that they won the Superbowl. I am still not a Colts fan, but that is SLOWLY changing. Mostly because of my boys, who like them! I am not regarding the Patriots as my favorite team anymore. That is due mainly because of the COACH. I have no respect for that man and cannot support a team that is coached by such a shady person. The End!

Oh Yeah!! I'm a football fan too!! I love the Broncos (growing up in CO there was no choice). But my second fav is the Colts...luv them!
