My 5 year old for some strange reason is drawn to the opposite sex (cute girls). He will only play with boys if there are no girls around. John does not enjoy anything girlie, but will bend those rules and play with a doll or such if a girl asks. I don’t think this is normal for his age. Aren’t boys supposed to think that girls are yucky and have cooties?
Take today for example. I went to go get the boys in the kid’s room after I was done working out and John was sitting at the table coloring… with a girl of course. I had to take a double take because this boy does not enjoy coloring. He NEVER sits to draw or color, he tells me he hates it. Then today he is sitting at the table acting like he colors all the time and loves every second of it, all because of a girl. I did not think I would have to start worrying about this when my child was FIVE.
