No Worries!

Matthew 6:25-27 Christ's words
"So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life- whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing? Look at the birds. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barn because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not."

These verses are of my life today, God amazes me.

This morning I was doing our budget. This is something that I take very seriously and spend some time crunching numbers! My financial advisor (Dave Ramsey) says to spend every cent, so that is what I did. As soon as I was done, I went to turn the heat up and the furnace made a horrible noise and turned off... not a good sign. Keep in mind, I didn't foresee this, so it was not in the budget. This is the where the verse comes in. In the past I would have worried about it, but today this verse came to mind and I just called a furnace company and they were able to come out this afternoon.

Well come to find out there was a bird in our motor. This happened to us last year too, in March. The guy said that in his 10 years in the business he has never seen this happen to a house twice. It is all fixed now and once again the Lord has provided for all our needs.

I do not always stay calm and collective, especially when money is concerned. The Lord has been showing me lots of things over the past year and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt the He will provide for all our needs.

So no worries y'all... no worries. Does that mean I am a worry free person... oh heavens no, but the Lord is working on that too!
